Garrucha has three ports: the marina, the fishing port and the commercial yesso port. It is also the only blue flag in town beach in Europe.

A palm tree lined promenade framed by white marble balustrades spans the entire length of the town. An evening stroll around the harbour and along the promenade after a delicious fresh seafood dinner is a must for any visitor. Near the harbour there are grassy landscaped areas to sit and relax and further along there are climbing frames and slides on the beach and on the promenade for children to play.
